You should enroll in the ISE officially by August 25th. Enrollment into the University of London will take place after you complete the first year of ISE provided you successfully pass a minimum of three (3) APT examinations and receive a minimum score of 6 on the IELTS English exam earning not less than a score of 5.5 in each section.

The first round of entrance exams on Mathematics and IELTS-format English was held on June 15 and June 16, 2011. Congratulations to the applicants who have passed those and are ready to study at the ISE!

Each student has 3 tries to pass the ISE entrance exams.

Things to do to apply:

Fill out the application form , noting the dates that you would prefer to take the entrance exam. The form will be emailed to the ISE adissions commettee. Also, print the form out and bring it with you on the date of the entrance exam.

It is advisable to do this even before you receive your notice of admission into KBTU. The ISE admissions tests entail English language and mathematics components. You should score no lower than 5 on an English test and no lower than 7 on Mathematics test. You will also be required to achieve a score of no less than 80 on the state exam (ЕНТ).

It is always better to apply as early as possible to maximise your chances.

After successfully completing your first year of study which includes passing APT and IELTS exam, students are enrolled in the University of London International Programmes (EMFSS UoL) and continue their studies in the ISE taking annual UoL exams administered in Almaty by the British Council.
